1 Problemløsning
1.1 Generelt
Såfremt pesticiddatabasen ikke anvendes vil der med tiden ske et system “time-out”,
derefter skal siden genindlæses eller opfriskes  ny log ind. Man skal ikke anvende
 til at navigere tilbage til en tidligere visning.
1.2 Eksport af
data til Excel-regneark
Såfremt man gerne vil downloade data til Excel skal man
har Excel installeret på PC´en. På nogle maskiner kan denne funktion ikke umiddelbart
udføres, da nogle browseropsætninger forhindrer downloading af regnearket via Java/Ajax,
jf. afsnit 3.6. For at løse dette, skal man under Internetindstillinger/Sikkerhed
tilføje webstedet, som en side man har tillid til, og eventuelt aktivere kørsel
af scriptlets og Active-X objekter for websteder, man har tillid til.
Ligeledes
er det en god idé, at der under Funktioner/Tools | Internetindstillinger/Internet
options | Avanceret/Advanced) vælges Slet mappen Temporary Internet files, når
webbrowseren lukkes/Empty Temporary internet files folder when browser is closed,
eller at disse filer fjernes manuelt regelmæssigt. Eksporten af detaljerne for et
stof tager typisk omkring 5 sekunder, mens stoflisten tager ca. 9-10 sekunder. Eksport
af detaljer for alle stoffer (valgboks er tom) tager typisk omkring 5-10 minutter.
På nogle servere kan dette tage længere tid, og der kan ske et system “time-out”,
dvs. at instruksen ikke udføres. Såfremt web-siden forbliver inaktiv, eller 
vises på den nederste venstre del af siden, skal siden genloades med nyt log ind. Opsætning
af Excel-regneark kan betyde, at værdier med decimaler oplagres som tekst i stedet
for tal. Disse kan konverteres til tal ved at der indsættes en ny kolonne (kolonne
D) ved siden af værdi-kolonnen (kolonne C) og indtastes 1 i alle felter. Herefter
mærkes alle felter i kolonne C, der trykkes Ctrl. C (kopi), musen flyttes til det
øverste værdi-felt i kolonne D, og der vælges Edit/Redigér | Paste Special/Indsæt
Speciel | Multiply/Multiplicér. Værdierne skulle nu være indsat i kolonne
D som tal og ikke som tekst. Herefter slettes kolonne C.
1.3 Visning af metabolitter
Ved visningen af metabolitter tager det ca. 10-12 sekunder at hente billedet frem.
For yderligere oplysninger om stoffet skal stofnavn genindtastes, da databasen er
nulstillet. På nogle servere kan dette tage længere tid, og der kan ske et system

1.4 Visning af parametre og værdier
Værdierne fremkommer efter få sekunder.
Såfremt der kun foreligger generelle data for et stof, foreligger der ingen fysisk-kemiske
parametre og der vises derfor ingen værdier vises i oversigten under parametre og
målebetingelser. Derimod kan disse stoffer godt have strukturformel eller være vist
i metabolitdiagrammer.
Såfremt der skiftes mellem forskellige stoffer med og uden
data, kan det ske, at siden ikke opdateres, og referencer eller værdier fra det
tidligere valgte stof stadig ses under detaljer. Dette kan kontrolleres ved at “oversigt”
vælges som viser, om der findes data for det pågældende stof.
